Brian D. Roth maintains a federal and state defense
practice in the areas of business litigation, insurance
defense and admiralty law. In his business litigation
practice, Mr. Roth represents a wide spectrum of businesses,
defending commercial and consumer claims including retail
banking disputes, credit and collection, breach of contract,
and other business torts. His insurance defense practice
primarily focuses on the defense of property casualty
claims and professional errors and omissions. His admiralty
practice includes the prosecution and defense of suits
arising from drilling and vessel operations and property
claims arising from maritime casualty.
Mr. Roth has a graduate degree in statistics from Louisiana
State University in 1983, and worked as a systems analyst
in both the public and private sectors before returning
to school and obtaining his law degree from Tulane University
School of Law in 1991. He is licensed to practice in
both Louisiana and North Carolina, and practices in
federal courts throughout the United States.
