Eric M. Schorr practices primarily in the areas of
Trusts, Estate Planning and Probate. He received his
undergraduate degree from Tulane University (cum laude)
and his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University School
of Law, where he graduated third in his division. Mr.
Schorr was presented with the Certificate of International
Law and received several awards for Law Excellence in
the areas of Federal Taxation of Wealth Transmission
and Federal Income Taxation. He served on the editorial
board of the Loyola University Journal of Public Interest
Law as Articles Editor and was a member of the Maritime
Law Society and Delta Theta Phi International Legal
Fraternity.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schorr had a successful
career in the financial services industry as a general
securities principal where he acquired an in-depth understanding
of investments and financial planning as well as securities
regulation. He is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana
State and American and Federal Bar Associations.
