Sharon Cormack Mize practices
primarily in the area of general litigation, with
emphases in commercial and product liability,
insurance, public entity, errors and omissions,
state and local taxation, and construction law.
In addition to her legal experience, Ms. Mize
has both the educational background of and practical
experience as a CPA, which is of particular importance
in all litigation matters involving economic and
other damage claims.
She graduated with
honors from the University of Texas with a B.B.A. and
cum laude from Loyola University School of Law. She
was comment editor of the Loyola Law Review in
1985-86. Upon graduation, she clerked for Justice
Pascal Calogero of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Ms. Mize is a member of
the Louisiana, Texas, and New Orleans Bar Associations,
as well as a member of the LSBA Section on Taxation.
