Ted Cummings works in the firm's Chicago office practicing primarily in commercial litigation and employment law.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cummings practiced commercial and insurance defense litigation in Chicago.  He is a former General Counsel who while in law firm private practice experienced extensive trial work having tried many cases to verdict in courts throughout Illinois.

Mr. Cummings earned his law degree from the John Marshall Law School of Chicago.  He was the Executive Justice of the Moot Court Competition, receiving second place best brief award.  Mr. Cummings was also a member of the National Mock Trial team, which was awarded first runner up honors for the Midwest Region of the American Bar Association National Mock Trial competition.

He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Lake County, Illinois Bar Association.  He is licensed to practice in Illinois and federal district courts throughout Illinois and Indiana.
