William M. Lucas, Jr. practices primarily in the areas
of estates, trusts, and estate planning. In addition,
he practices in the field of corporate law, health care
law and First Amendment litigation. He is a graduate
of Tulane University School of Law, a member of the
New Orleans Estate Planning Council, a founder, member
and past president of the Louisiana Society of Hospital
Attorneys, and a past member of the Freedom to Read
Foundation of the American Library Association. Mr.
Lucas performed the legal services incident to the formation
and organization of Lakeside Hospital and served as
a Board Member of Lakeside Hospital and Elmwood Medical
Center. He is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana
State, American and Federal Bar Associations and is
admitted to practice before the United States Supreme
Court
