We often represent local and statewide banks, and act
as local counsel for many regional, national money
center, and international banks. We also represent
corporate clients in their dealings with banks and other
financial institutions. Our banking clients call on us for legal assistance and advice in such matters as preparation and review of loan and security documents, real estate lending, acquisition financing, loan closings, banking litigation, and federal and Louisiana banking laws. We also handle disputes between banks and commercial and non-commercial customers, including disputes over demand-deposit accounts, credit cards, loans and lender liability, negotiable instruments, securities, security interests, safety-deposit boxes, and other areas.
