Jim Schultz joined the Firm’s
Chicago office in 2008, having been a senior litigator
with a boutique Chicago firm. Jim has tried dozens
of cases and earned a reputation as a tough and
fair litigator. Jim specializes in consumer defense,
commercial and employment litigation.
Jim is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and
graduated from Marquette University in 1993 having
earned his law degree from the DePaul University
College of Law in 1997. In law school, Jim participated
in the DePaul Legal Aid Clinic, where he represented
low income persons in civil and criminal proceedings.
Jim is admitted to practice in Illinois and Nevada,
the United States District Courts for the Northern
District of Illinois, including the federal trial
bar, the Northern and Southern District of Indiana,
the Northern and Southern District of Ohio, as
well as the United States Court of Appeals for
the 7th and 11th Circuit.
