Maria N. Rabieh joined the Consumer Defense and Business Litigation Practice Group of the Sessions Firm in 2008, where her practice has concentrated on defending consumer litigation and debtor-creditor matters. Maria previously practiced with the Sessions Firm for 8 years and developed a broad range of experience in general civil defense work, primarily in the areas of insurance defense and insurance coverage, products liability, medical malpractice, trucking and transportation and mass toxic tort. Her background includes the defense of insurers in personal injury/casualty and property claims, premises liability claims and coverage disputes. She has been involved in the litigation of claims concerning asbestos exposure, pharmaceutical and drug liability and chemical exposure, including personal injury and damage to property. Maria has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has handled matters before the Louisiana appellate and Supreme courts.
Maria received her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University with a double major in Political Science and French. After obtaining her law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Center at Louisiana State University, Maria was admitted to the Louisiana Bar and then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles Grisbaum of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
