Renee Bourg practices primarily in the firm’s litigation and real estate group. Renee earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Loyola University College of Law where she graduated second in her division. She was named a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar and a St. Ignatius Award nominee. Renee received the Dean’s Award and was a J. Sanford Levy Best Brief Competition finalist. She served as a Casenote/Comment Editor of the Loyola Law Review, where her student comment was published. In addition, Renee received Law Excellence Awards for moot court, mediation and arbitration, entertainment law, child advocacy, and business law. She also received the Corporate and Business Law LSBA Award.
The firm is a supporter of the annual New Orleans Film Festival at which Renee has presented on best practices and copyright as it applies to film production and distribution, and "Setting the Stage to Film in Louisiana from a Legal Perspective."
Prior to law school, Renee had a successful career as a Louisiana State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and owned a commercial and residential appraisal company. She served as a partner in a real estate brokerage firm. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans summa cum laude and received the Chancellor’s Award.
She is a member of the Louisiana State and Federal Bar Associations.
