Sondra R. Levine joined the Consumer Defense Group in 2010, where her practice concentrates on defending consumer litigation and debtor-creditor matters. Before joining the Firm, Ms. Levine practiced in San Diego with a national defense firm where she was a member of the Professional Liability and the Consumer Litigation Defense & Financial Services Groups.
Ms. Levine has advised and defended real estate agents, escrow agents, insurance agents and brokers, lawyers, accountants, and engineers. Her background also includes advising and defending employers in matters involving wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, and discrimination. Ms. Levine also has experience defending both single-plaintiff and class-action lawsuits based on claims arising from the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Ms. Levine earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007. She is admitted to practice in the California state courts and before the Northern, Southern, Central, and Eastern District Courts. Ms. Levine is also admitted to practice in Minnesota and the District of Columbia.
Prior to law school Ms. Levine served as a business and financial manager in the beverage distribution industry. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego in 2003.
